Decisions decisions. McNeil was probably the best player, Seamus laid down his life, Pickford saved the penalty and gave us near heart failure, Iwobi scored the goal he should score 3 of every game but gave to ball away so sloppily, Keane is probably still dizzy after all the rings Vardy ran around him, Gueye was his usual self but needs to shoot on target and more often. But I went for DCL as my MoM because he was dangerous all game and scored a penalty. I don't accept that he missed a sitter, the cross hit a leicester player's toe otherwise it would have been a slam dunk. A point away is a point away.
A lot of people missed that.

The lowest points ever needed for safety was 34 points (West Brom in 2013/14). We still need 5 to get to that level.

We probably need at least 6.

Hard to see us getting anything against Brighton away (chasing European places) and Man City (chasing the title). Wolves away will be tough but we can get something there. Have to beat Bournemouth at home on last day.

🤞🤞🤞🤞
Fulham finished 18h with 28 points in 20/21. Burnley didn't need the 39 they got to finish 17th.

Seen these player ratings on Goodison News (I know) for the Leicester City game. Does anyone here agree with them? Just curious.

Jordan Pickford: 6

Seamus Coleman (off for Patterson ’45+4): 6
Michael Keane: 4
James Tarkowski: 6
Vitalii Mykolenko: 3

Idrissa Gana Gueye: 5
James Garner: 5
Abdoulaye Doucouré: 7 (MotM)
Alex Iwobi: 5
Dwight McNeil: 6

Dominic Calvert-Lewin: 6

Nathan Patterson (on for Coleman ’45+4): 6

Garner and Myko ratings too low, Keane and Doucoure ratings too high. Otherwise probably about right.

in the cold light of 2 days later, I cant help thinking that we'll rue not going for the win in this game.
Some attacking subs on 75 mins and we could have won that.
Hopefully (like a lot of things) I'm proven wrong on that score.

Onwards and upwards

Let's be honest, 9 times out of 10 we win that game. It's just typical of our season that their goalkeeper plays out of his skin like that. You cannot account for him making about 6 saves where you expect the ball to hit the back of the net. Sadly it might be the dropped points that put us down.

Look at all the chances Leicester made. We should be happy to share the points!

We can only be saved by an outrageous stroke of good fortune.

Myko for me, can't remember who played on the right for them but they didn't get a sniff. Thought McNeill had a blinder as well tbf.

Game was there for the taking but a point is a point

Not good enough, and literally opens the door to relegation.

Keane’s limitations are well documented on here and by and large I agree, but I don’t really attach much blame on him for the Vardy goal the 2 CH were left terribly exposed by Iwobi’s woeful attempt at a pass there’s not many CH that would’ve caught Vardy in those circumstances a yard start and both CH’s caught flat footed. For me Iwobi 100% to blame.

Was gutted when they dropped Danny Ward a few games back. He's absolutely abysmal and 100% he wouldn't have got near to about 3 of those efforts.

Slightly less than 24 hours to go before this MotM Poll closes... so don't delay, vote today !!
