The Barley Mow and Plantagenet are near the train station so good for any travelling by train. As I’ve said the Barley Mow is a nice but small boozer and the Plantagenet is a typical Spoons. The counting house is a 5 minutes walk from the ground and will have a good mix of home and away fans but seems to be taken over by away fans. It’s a nice little place don’t get me wrong but if you’re looking for a bit of pre match atsomephere I don’t think it’s big enough
Evenly matched teams imo. They are just favourites cause they are at home. Just like we'd be favourites if we were at home.

Should utilise the speedy forwards in this one so 'no' to Cenk or Oumar. A game made for DCL with Walcott and Richie or move Ritchie over to CF and get Bernard on. Assuming our cast iron defence of JJK, Zoumma, Keane, Digne can be bolstered by Gana and Davies with Gylfi linking those 6 to the speed up front.

Nail on the head. I'd start Calvert-Lewin and give him an hour then shift Richarlison into the middle and get Bernard out on the left. I'd love to see Richarlison get the start at centre forward but can't see it happening. Got to make sure our centre backs don't give a sniff to Vardy and rely on Gueye to try and nullify Maddison. Leicester are a good team but I think we can have some luck on the counter providing that we convert the chances we get.

He has scored 3 goals already to be fair...
Patience is needed with DCL & he will deliver...
Looks I like the boy Marcus. But it's certainly not his physical attributes that are the issue. That's why I think he suits us better than Tosun right now. He has everything physically you look for in a centre forward.
But the long and the short of it is that he does not score anywhere near enough goals to be an Everton centre forward for the long term. His finishing and threat in the final third isn't close to being good enough currently.
The fact I think he's our best striker right now is no major compliment to him, just a huge indictment on our other two options. I'd prefer to see Walcott through the middle. It's almost tragic how poor our three strikers are.

I do agree we need better that is certainly correct...
But going forward DCL can play his part for Everton & become a top player, he will only improve & under Marco will be encouraged to perform....
