Leicester postponement

What about if Leicester were playing a team in the relegation zone and they were forced to play a load of youngsters- that would not be fair on others at the bottom of the table.

Unless it's covid does it matter?

It doesn't have to just be Covid mate, it's injuries as well now. the prem rules are:

In the Premier League, a match can be postponed if a club can prove they don't have 13 outfield players plus one goalkeeper available from their senior squad and list of 'appropriately experienced Under-23s'.

An appropriately experienced U23 is a player who has participated, whether as a starter or substitute, for a club in a first-team competition this season.

OK. The fact they played today won't help their case I think

So if they have 8 seniors it depends if they have another 5 ‘experienced’ under 23’s.

Still don't understand how the players away at AFCON should be considered to be unavailable.
They are only unavailable because the club granted them permission to go.

By Tuesday the transfer window will have been open for ten days. If their squad is insufficient they've had ample opportunity to sign / loan players.

Hard luck. Only 1 with Covid apparently so game on

Doesn't matter mate, as well as Covid injuries are also included now. If they can't put out 13 players and one goalkeeper then they can get the game called off. The thing is because they put a team out today the prem will knock them back anyway, that's why I don't think Leicester will ask for the game to be postponed.

If its covid then fair enough. If there are zero covid cases but all injuries and AFCON they cant just postpone. What if the injuries arnt cleared up by the Burnley game? They request another cancellation? Just go on until the injuries clear up or AFCON is finished?
