I have since found out that when you had the Burnley game called off, you had 15 players available who were EPL eligible, so there really is nothing Everton can moan about at all.

A lot of the moaning is frustration, going watch Everton is very pleasurable so we miss it when the games are off.

Everton should forfeit against Burnley
Leicester should forfeit against us
Newcastle should also forfeit against us

Fair enough, I get that. There is a serious chance of Burnley getting a cancellation this weekend for us, especially with Chris Wood on his way to Newcastle, and our lot will be grumbling I am sure! :)
 
What does the premier league expect to transpire when theres massive fixture congestion? Injuries are going to pile up again and they'll experience a similar scenario. Very problematic precedent being set

And I’d agree that game should have gone ahead if we had the numbers available! Where I disagree is if players who are at the African Nations thing are taken into account when consideration is games being postponed - if you buy players that qualify to play in that that’s a risk you take!
Hopefully Leicester aren’t playing the nonsensical game the kopites are playing with false positive covid tests which should be stopped immediately, but won’t be cos’ the kopites are involved!

It was planned to be rescheduled as a midweek game on the 15th February, but Leicester have said they can’t do that as Albrighton is hosting his daughter’s birthday party that night, and Harvey Barnes is visiting his nanna

It gets Richarlison and Mina further along on the road back from injury.
DCL and Townsend , Branthwaite have longer to train and get fully fit.
Myolenko and Patterson have longer to settle in.

This point is made a lot but we don't know who is going to be available when these games are eventually played.

And I'm talking about every club, not just Everton.

My main concern is with fixture congestion and not all clubs will be affected equally.
