They won more games than anyone else (3 more than Arsenal in 2nd) and lost fewer games than anyone else (4 fewer than Arsenal). They won the league fair and square.
The more accurate argument would be that the chasing pack failed to maintain their challenge, but the facts prove that Leicester certainly didn't obtain the title by default.
Wasn't taking anything away from them I agree they fully deserved it. In the end it proved comfortable. There were just stages where other teams should have done better, as well as the usual suspects being nowhere near as good as they should.
