Leicester-The Worst Reigning Champions Ever?

This just highlights to me the lack of footballing intelligence America has to offer... this guy was supposed to have been the best they had to offer.
The very best, and fathet of their most world class player, he clearly couldn't get the respect of a dressing room full of players from proper footballing nations, and you know what, that's not his fault, maybe in 50 or so years, but not now

..Leicester still have some very decent players, good though Kante is it isn't as simple as saying it's because he left. A lot of their success was built on character, attitude and belief, all of which appear to have disintegrated. The indication is that the players have lost faith with the manager and have sought a meeting with the owners. The strengths of last season have totally gone and the team now have a very soft underbelly.

I still don't get how a team which has slimani marhez Vardy to name a few are struggling this badly.

Fair enough mid table but struggling to win games most weeks? That is the part that confuses me. Apparantly these are meant to be great players

Do you not think it's too easy for the players to call a meeting with the owners eggs ? Should they themselves shoulder some of the blame and knuckle down to work hard to put things right instead of feeling sorry for themselves ? I just don't like that kind of thing tbh.

I'll never forget all the hype from our American chums for Michael Bradley prior to the 2014 World Cup. He was utter mince

The American hype for The Bradley's is like the Irish hype for Wes Hoolahan

...nor me, Kurt. I think it's a dreadful state of affairs and a very poor reflection on that group as professional footballers.

Who ? All I see is a team of journeymen plodders and a one trick pony in Mahrez their defence is utter minging they'll join us in the championship

...the two CBs were more than 'efficient' last season, Drinkwater got into the England set up, Mahrez has been voted one of Africa's best players, the new lad in midfield is a prospect as is Gray and the keeper was linked to a few top clubs. They won the league last season, it can't be down to Kante alone.

It was tremendous, the over the top zany american fans and their post match fumes were the absolute highlight of that world cup for me, absolute kopiteism, great days
