Re the timing of the decision.

Teams normally win their next match after a manager has been sacked, so with Monday in mind I'm all for this.

Did Martinez win the league?
Did Martinez get sacked the first year he struggled?

I think this is a very very poor comparison. Proper football clubs don't sack the only manager to ever achieve anything at their no mark club inside 6 months. Cannot actually believe you're comparing Martinez with this.
