Extra hour in bed before I go and watch ...................?, difficult one to call.Don't see Puel as an up at 'em manager but we have a terrible away record this calendar year.

If you want a good omen, Everton have won their last three league games immediately after Daylight Saving ends.

Sunday, 26 October 2014 - Burnley 1 Everton 3
Sunday, 01 November 2015 - Everton 6 Sunderland 2
Sunday, 30 October 2016 - Everton 2 West Ham 0

I'm clutching at anything to give me hope for this game, obviously! :). 2-1 to Les Bleus, Rooney to score first.

My XI (4-1-3-2): Pickford, Kenny, Keane, Jagielka, Baines, Gueye, Vlasic, Lookman, Sigurdsson, Rooney, Calvert-Lewin

This is the team picked in the Echo. Like it.

Looks a good side that.

I’d probably start Lennon before Sigurdsson though. Thought he played well enough to keep his place after Chelsea.

Pickford

Kenny - Keane - Jagielka - Baines

Vlasic - Davies - Schneiderlin - Sigurdsson - Mirallas

Niasse

I'd like to at least start the game with this. Control the midfield and push the wide men on into the attack when we have the ball. Depending on the situation, I'd sacrifice a midfielder (probably Morgan) for DCL between minute 60-65 if we're drawing or losing (Lookman would be an option to replace one of Vlasic or Mirallas for some fresher legs). If we're winning and we need to shore up, McCarthy or Gana can come on for Sigurdsson to see it out.

Highly unlikely that this would actually happen like, I figure Rooney will be involved in some capacity at least.
