The absence of Keane and Vlasic - if not injured - is very strange. A fit Keane has to be at least on the bench, and a fit Vlasic has to start ahead of Lennon. With Klaassen and Sandro it's easier to understand as they've not contributed much between them this season.

The shape of the team's looking good, but we need all our best players on the pitch, and we're still some way from that.

Not really. Is he supposed to pair Besic and Holgate at CB? Keane is probably injured. And whilst I don't agree with the Rooney selection, Siggy has done nothing to earn that spot. Lennon and Lookman are a wash.
