Worst part about this is these are genuinely terrible.

How we have a team full of "experience" and no ability to run and not one of them even contemplated flooring the lad on the break and taking a card, utterly baffling.

Then Kenny had a shocker on the 2nd but again letting Gray do stepovers and cutting in and no one doubling up and hitting him it's ridiculous.

Doesn't matter who manages this mess, the team is old, slow and massively unbalanced, no manager could improve this till after january.

Mirallas has been our best player, simply because he's dropping into gaps to receive the ball in space and pull players about. Or, in simple terms, he's doing something akin to what Barkley did on a weekly basis for us.

Everyone else has been absolutely awful, with a special shout out to Davies, who looks totally gone in the head now and needs taking out the team to recover, and Baines, who is as finished as Rooney is.

I'm starting to feel sorry for Unsworth, Koeman has truly left us in a mess. As for this game we are really going to struggle with DCL up front, the way we are playing today with 2 wingers we need Niasse upfront, also I think Holgate should be along side Jags, Holgate has a little more pace. Also we are in desperate need of a bit of luck, we do look better going forward from when Koeman was in charge. So a few changes and let's see if it improves.

Gueye needs to be dropped. Not got anywhere near the form he had last season. Rooney just keeps giving the ball away, but then does something great like the pass to put Lennon through.

OK, we're in a relegation battle.

My g/f likes Sunderland so I watched them a lot during their gradual decline and we're there now. This is not a bad patch it's a bad team.

Realistically, who are we up against... Palace, Bournemouth and who? Leicester will pull away, Stoke likewise. Huddersfield could fall back, likewise Swansea and Newcastle (although all are playing with the bit between their teeth currently). So you can probably see where I'm going, if it's about survival, OK Allardyce or Pulis. I genuinely would go for Pulis as it would jointly screw up Brom and bring them into the mix. It would sort our defence and he's largely done good business in the window. Just can't picture him in an Everton Baseball cap, like.

I really want Unsworth to have a few windows and a decent stint, but we're so bad this might be loyalty over sense talking.

So this is how bad it is right now: I'm GLAD that Lennon and Mirallas are playing today, as they've been the only two worth watching.

Yep. THAT bad.
