Not really, on either count.

Would I rather a team full of world class superstars, winning everything in sight? Absolutely.

Would I prefer the players mentioned, vs some of the uninspired and uninspiring shower we're currently dealing with? Absolutely.

That's not a lack of ambition, it's a simple comparison.

No, it's a hankering for mediocrity.
 
After that photo yesterday, I'm firmly now on the @davek train of thought in regards to getting rid of the loser mentality of the 'old school' players clique - namely Baines, Coleman, Jagielka and McCarthy.

Haha indeed.

But when you know you have a rotten core, you may as well solve that problem first.

Sorry, but that photo should never have been taken. They can be mates after work, fine, but go to a pub on a day off and be professional before, during and after a game on match day. Because you're being paid to perform and win, not look happy after a loss.

... although admittedly I was happy after the loss!

not one of the players you mentioned is "core" to the team/squad anymore though mate... except Coleman I guess - who let's be honest, everyone here loved until this season - the injury certainly seems to have ended him

So from a photograph of a group of current and ex players, who are obviously MATES, you`re able to deduce that Phil Jagielka`s ulterior motive is that he`s " sniffing around " for a new contract !!!!!

Are the FBI aware of you`re " Mind Hunting " skills ???

If not I`d advice you to contact them asap, as I`m sure that you`d prove to be an invaluable asset to them.
