Sad but it's the right time. If we want to move forward as a club then we can't do that standing still. One of my absolute favourite players I've had the pleasure of watching. The anticipation of what's to come when he was standing over freekicks a few seasons back was rivalled & bettered only by Beckham in the Premier League. So wish he had some medals to his name with us.

Great player for us and one of the best modern players we have had at the club.

Baines could easily have picked up a fortune next season and ambled around doing so, good on him for going out with grace and style. Little maestro of a footballer, I always enjoyed watching him.
