Guys saying he is scared to cross. He has nobody to cross too for crying out loud. Add a proper CF that can offer something in the air and he will lay crosses in. No point doing them if they will just be cleared and give a road-train parking side a chance to get us on the counter. Very calm and collected today. Absolutely oozed class.

Add to that the oppo had a CB that made Robert Huth look like a midget might have something to do with his crosses being driven into the front post area.

Ten years ago today since Leighton Baines came home to us. We often say that Evertonians are born, not manufactured - if this can be said of any player, surely it is Leighton. Even in our exceptional club I can't think of any player that I am prouder of being able to point to as one of ours.
I am thankful for everything he's done for us on and off the field over the past decade and (not that he owes us anything) I believe he will will continue to prove his class to all over the season to come.
