I remember an injury crisis at the club in the late 80s? when Trevor Steven had to play centre forward for a while. That really was a team that was struggling for any sort of height........

Id of thought tickets would be flying out for this game, they clearly are not opening lower bullens, family stand and top balcony and their is thousands of tickets left in the seating areas that are avaliable.

I think it will still end up being a good gate. We are notorious for buying tickets late/turning up on the day. With Lukaku being there and Besic getting a run out that will help with the gate. I am gonna hazard a guess and say there will be 23,000+ there.

Tell you what how about I return to discussing Osman in the thread whilst clearly not being over Moyes, whilst you continue raising unwarranted comments about how bad Moyes was in Osman threads whilst you are completely over him.

I'd be gutted if there wasn't a good turn out for him, he's been loyal and committed, played out of position, benched, reserved, loaned out but never moaned, always played with pride and has been a good player for us for decades.

I'd have loved to have seen us with a full compliment of players over the years bit unfortunately it's always been 'Osman's not good enough' 'Hibbert's not good enough' 'Anichebe not good enough' 'Fellaini not good enough' 'Howard's not good enough' 'Pienaars not good enough' 'Neville not good enough' etc etc. even the manager 'Moyes not good enough'

Considering we've been a solid top 7 team now for 7-8 years imagine what we'd have been like with just a couple of decent players and a fella who had half a clue. I reckon we'd have won the quadruple at least twice.
