What else could he write about to make it sell? Had an uninteresting career and there's been other players from the Moyes era who've wrote books already telling us everything worth knowing about it how felt. I really think this is a sign that Osman knows he's near the end. Please God.

Meh.

Osman's desire to defend his largely unpopular former manager is laudable, but ill advised.
His account of how Moyes 'revealed he was going to Utd' is both implausible (worst kept secret in football) and also disappointing in how he portrays it (like Moyes won the jackpot or something. A Stubbs-esque attitude).

His defence of Moyes is ill-advised and he amazingly doesn't grasp what the fans main gripe with Moyes is (not that he came back to sign players, but they he came with derisory offers and made hypocritical comments to try to destabilise the players).

His needless pop at a much-loved former colleague is cheap and snidey and just an attempt to create controversy for book sales.

Very disappointing behaviour. There was also no need for this book to come out whilst he was still an active player at Everton.

hmm, i'm sure he could have got that cahill stuff worded better, really didn't come out well did it. regarding his moyes comments, it doesn't really anger me, a few other players and staff at everton have said similar, they don't see it the same way we do. it's the same as when you're friends with someone for so long and outsiders say bad things about them, you sort of feel the need to defend them.

cahill never got a proper send off, but boy did he deserve one - definitely more so than neville. have nothing against neville myself, but he was just an everton player coming to the end of their contract, yes he was captain, but there was nothing special about him. cahill was a whole different kettle of fish though, legend is a word thrown about too much, but cahill is the closest there's been in the last decade or so, alongside now baines. the guy was everton all over - you don't have to win things to be a legend imo. he deserved a send off and not one fan at goodison that day would have grumbled about cahill coming out i doubt...the other two though.

I just read Osman's Echo piece and think he has misinterpreted proceedings resulting in Evertonians general disinclination toward David Moyes. Specifically, it was not that he came back for Baines and Fellaini, nor was it even the "derisory bid" of 27million. Rather, it was the 'Everton should jump to Man Utd desires' theme that he introduced into proceedings. And this 'little brother' mindset of Moyes subsisted whilst he was managing Everton. Any manager of EFC who subordinates the club who employs him, to the wishes of some other club, is going to meet with opprobrium by blues supporters...and that's what happened.

Leon needs to acquaint himself with this reality.

It was "Roberto will learn how Everton works" for me.

Not only belittling Everton but also condescending towards Roberto.

Ossie is a bell. Has he had his last start in an Everton shirt? Hope so.

Lol..... Active player .... Lol.....

i had no idea he had an auto-biography coming out tbh. in all honesty, he's not exactly had an exciting career to write about. auto-biographies are a bit vein, but you do have to have a lot of interesting stories to make it worthwhile, can't think of too many standout moments in his career to discuss.

I think a few reviewers will be going for the jugular lol
