What the hell kind of timing is this to release excerpts of an autobiography that was written to stir the pot?

Frankly I don't care what he says in it; a true steward of Everton would not allow his book to become a distraction to the team ahead of a critical stretch of matches. I look forward to thinking about Everton without Osman's name coming to mind.

Teachers pet and a little rat at that...someone whose existence is pointless really. Like the bloke who doesn't have any friends but 'tries his best' to make them and everyone feels a little sorry for him,

I think he is entitled to his opinion, even if I don't agree with some of it.

Is 'Per Kroldrup' Danish for 'Peter Crouch'? Maybe it's just my bad vision but I see a likeness.

I think his love for Moyes was obvious to see when Martinez took over, his first few interviews for Everton TV in the beginning of the Martinez era were proper edgy. It took him a while to warm to the new regime which is understandable after such stability.

However, no Evertonian should ever be happy to watch a former manager dismantle a team which in the process could possibly destroy them.

Makes me think so called local boys actually detach themselves from being the fan they used to be on the stands as a lad and just see it more as a job where they are happy for old pals to get on well.

Leon might want to sit the following one question test before packing an overnight bag and plying his trade in Brentford, Crewe or Plymouth.

Leon, which of the following names will be remembered with affection by Evertonians in 20 years time?:

1. Osman

2. Neville

3. Moyes

4. Cahill

(Note to Elstone / Kenwright: might be a sensible idea to have a silence clause in contracts till players etc have left the club, in order that paying customers don't get outraged by visible evidence of players' stupidity.)

His book's gonna be pulped quicker than Alan Partidge's 'Bouncing Back'.

I can't believe someone actually approached him to do an autobiography... It's Leon Osman ffs!! I'd rather read the life story of Jeff friggin Brazier.

You know when I read the excerpts I was thinking they were a bit Alan Partridge-esque and his painfully unfunny "had to be there" anecdotes.

he should have called it Leon's funny stories

dull book from a dull bloke it seems.

He's said a few daft things there, he must know that. This won't make his life with the boo boys easier that's for sure.

On the other hand, perhaps it's best to wait for the whole story;
