The creator of the article seems a right bitter ****.

I'm sure had it been one of 'his' clubs players it would have been the strike of all eternity.

If they cant tell that he cut across the ball and meant to get swerve on it I pity them.

Clearly he got a little luck with the amount of swerve it created, but he defo meant it, next they will be claiming its a cross.

I tend not to give things like this much thought.

I just believe that the media try their utmost to "degrade" Everton. Even we win the league oneday they will say we are lucky.

I think they're about right, to be honest. I've never seen Osman shoot like that before (or since).

We know Osman has shots like that in his locker, we have seen them.

Maybe he picked up the technique training with England? Maybe Stevie G Laaaaaaaar taught him it.

As I say, I tend not to care what the outside media think of Everton.

Are you available for hire ?

I take it you're not one of these fans who wanted some fresh faces then. Carrick and cleverly and milner hardly world beaters are they or is it because they play for top 4 sides? walcott, lennon, ox and young are wingers not even vying for the same position. gerrard and lampard have been the fulcrum of a very under performing midfield at international level for a decade. so basically scott parker is more deserving.

If that's the best england have to offer on your list then ossie is in good company he's just as good as most of those.

Anybody who can't see how good of a player Carrick is needs to stop watching football ad take up a new hobby.

He put outrageous slice swerve on a volley away at Sunderland last season as well. Macclesfield away I think he cut across it a bit too. He does it quite a lot.

Nice strike against Pompey, nice shot against West Ham, super header v City, great goals against Larissa (and Sunderland) and then this one - no he can't score good goals can he?

All these journos and not one noticed the half acre of space Leon had when Seamus was in possession - he had the time to take aim and he did it - perfectly.

He scored a pretty damn good goal against Stoke a few years ago as well.

Looks like he is in poor form now...
- Poor first touch
- Can't keep the ball
- Can't strike on target
- Get dribbled easily (as usual)
I suggest that we have more Barkley then.
