He has made the difference when coming off the bench a few times this year. He is woeful whenever he starts though.

Ossie seems to have completely lost his legs. Just jogging around not able to have an impact on the game though I wouldn't be surprised if he proves people wrong and has some important role to play for the rest of the campaign. He didn't get in that England team for nothing. He's got a good footballing brain, problem is he looks so out of sorts and slow he can't get near the ball. Barkley save us lad.

Lads, some are very quick to come to extreme decisions on here. Think Osman is a good squaddie when all is said and done, however, we do have a shortage of players in that 3 behind the striker, with Deulofeu, Barkley, Pienaar all out as well as McGeady not being match fit. This has caused him to be playing from the start which he should only be used for in the cup imo. Couple this with fresh memories of him playing deeper where he is not at his best, at all, would rather Heitinga played there, and he's getting a negative press from our own fans. Roberto said himself, it's about dressing room experience and a range of different levels and he offers that experience, he gets the club. Never any less than 110%, great servant too.

Neither is Barklay, Baines or Coleman but that does not stop all kinds of talk. Just is no talk of Osman moving and has been none for all the years he has been at Everton, what does that lack of interest say?

What does the lack of interest from the lower leagues say? That he isn't a lower league player.

Tbh honest I've never really rated him. But you accept certain things like he wasn't playing his natural position or games where we just hoofed the ball and bypassed the midfeild, he did use to give it his all and you couldn't fault him for that. Now tho the lad can't keep up 100% for 50 minutes. Saying that tho I think he is very good coming off the bench the lad got us a point at stoke like.

Bottom line is when he starts I exspecting us to loose rather then win, which is never a good sign for a player IMO.
