Spot on mate. I admit I do read one paper daily but largely because it doesn't do the jarg stories that most seem to. If I wanted that I have the summer transfer window thread on here

Oh dear..there's always one.....have a look at the Mail for the last month if you dare....and tell me how you think coverage of Everton compares with that of other Prem clubs. I actually get the Mail and a few other papers...main interest in the Mail is the Wordsearch, the other papers because they actually mention Everton on a regular basis.

They found out from family and friends, no one at the club contacted either Hibbert or Osman to make them aware they wouldn't be offered a new deal.

Only when their names was on the release list and family members texted them.

Rather poor from the club.

I think the focus needs to be on the players ..... Tell me any job that you work in that when you contract is due to expire that you as the individual do not approach your employer to see what is happening.

i cant be arsed going back a month! but in the last 2 days alone theres about 6 stories ranging from some of the squad going to the races to koeman saying how good lookman is.
my advice is stop buying the papers.

All this "grassing" rubbish is distasteful and unedifying. He was a good lad and a great servant of the club. If he was treated shoddily by the club, he has a right to talk about it without some nomarks invoking the Cosa Nostra Code of Silence.

It is drivel, so stop buying the paper that prints it. It's not like it's news coverage is better...

No club ever came in for Hibbert his entire career because he was pathetic. Says it all. He should be giving Kenwright blowies for the rest of his life for being such a luvvy and for taking care of little Tony the super Evertonian. Hibbert probably has 15m in the bank and for what? Abysmal footballer who only managed to stay at Everton because, for the large part of his career, we were also pathetic and broke so couldn't afford to replace him, oh and also had an ambitionless chairman in Bill who was just happy to keep us in the division.
