Regardless of whether you think this was genuine or not, I'd just like to say that I am incredibly gutted we didn't sign this guy.

I think he would have sured up our midfield 100%, and that we could make the CL with him. But a continuation of Neville, Osman and even Gibson will most probably not see us get 4th place, and we have a really tough run in at the end of the season.

If talks with Fer back on as being suggested in Holland then it will be a mad turnaround. Twente rumoured to be willing to compromise.

Said this yesterday, but at this stage of the day, i cant see it, would love it to happen, but cant see it!. Sounds like we could be revisiting this one in the summer though, which sounds good enough to me!.
