also just heard it, also speaking about his knee which had him miss quite a number of games plus him having the police at his house apparently not so long ago.

nonethless alhough this guy is well respected, he said more than a year ago that EFC were trying left right and centre to sell Johnny. Maybe a little bit over the top.

It's probably from his Feyenoord days with Royston Drenthe - probably doing lines of coke off the armpit of a dead hooker

or it could be a parking ticket

Anyone speak Dutch? It's all Double Dutch to me:

As someone has already said, Moyes etc would have looked into his background and this knee probably, especially seeing as we are paying £8m for the guy.

from another forum:

They are talking about Fers transfer now on Dutch tv. So far they have highlited that he has a bad knee and he has a serious court case coming soon but they would not say why, just that it was from his Feyenoord days.
They didn't mention anything about his knee. He has never had any knee problems.

I'm a Feyenoord fan and I can only guess that it's something Drugs related. 3 former Feyenoord players (Georginio Wijnaldum (PSV), Leroy Fer (FC Twente) and Jerson Carbral (FC Twente)) were big mates with a guy called Anthony Fernandes who was gunned down and killed last year. He was a known Drug dealer and also had embezzlement and violence crimes on his ''CV''. Wijnaldum and Cabral wore t-shirts to honour their friend when they scored and maybe Fer was involved with this Fernandes guy. The uncle of Fernandes committed suicide on the same day by hanging himself from a bridge in Rotterdam.

Please not that this is just speculation. The breaking news message is 100% accurate.
