This time last year (in another place) I was suggesting that Joelon was easily England class yet so many said he wasn't and even a duffer like Dawson was put in front of him for the England team. The lad will have to play out of his skin to keep his place because the tosser McLaren will always stick with the media picks, Ferdinand and anyone playing for the London clubs.

Incidentally imo McLarens future will be settled in the next 10 days, the only problem is that the original selectors want kicking out as well(y)

I agree.

From day 1 of Mclaren's reign I've been completely underwhelmed by the national team. He's making Sven look a genius.

I've always thought that he would screw up qualification and just like Graham Taylor, would end up on the front page of the Sun with his head in a turnip. Maybe a beetroot.
