You're right but it may well be on the cards. I'm thinking fee's already been agreed all round - we've been linked with him long enough, there always seems to be an Everton connection, maybe it's all been agreed and it's just waiting to play out.
If we did get serious cash (which I think we would) then we do have to find replacements, so Holtby and who else? I'd like Deffour, I think he'd be great for us.
If a fee had been agreed i doubt he'd still be saying things like 'Id love to play for Arsenal' and 'Id play for Liverpool'.
There is literally _nothing_ linking us to Holtby mate, except for a recycled quote about how his dad being an Evertonian.

and the big difference now is ? We play lots of nice passing stuff these days, we vary our game, this year Arsenal are not the same team as previous years. IMO Holtby would be an ideal signing for us.

you think so ? I'm glad to say that the ****e's problems run far deeper than that. Let's face it all but the seasoned observer probably thinks Huntelaar used to play for them, such is the volume of names that have gone through that career graveyard of a club
