Yes he does. I've enjoyed watching him develop over the last 2 or 3 years and, as others have pointed out, he has a knack of finding space to receive the ball, appreciates his role in the team, which helps him to quickly decide what to do with it. He's also tenacious when he loses the ball or the opposition have it.

He's still improving. I saw an interview with him when he was at Tranmere where he talked about improving his shooting from around the edge of the box - in the last U23 game he had two such efforts, both missed, and he was visibly angry with himself, so I've no doubt he's the sort who will be working on all aspects of his game.

You're right, Tranmere are a division lower than Fleetwood, having just missed out on promotion last year, but that wasn't Fleetwood's full strength team last night so I'd say the level was about the same.
Regarding his shooting, Warrington won of those “ Best goals of the Seadon” awards about 6 years ago , I think he was u13 s at the time, scoring a long range effort from about 25 yards out. It’s probably in the club archives somewhere , I can’t remember the season , but it was the first time I saw his name mentioned.

Yes you're right - thanks for reminding me! Perhaps Lewis should take a look at it :)

Keeps moving, finds space so well, can turn and protect the ball, tries forward passes. Just those points makes him stand out against other midfielders and looks very promising.

Not sure if he's ready to start league games yet as the pace is much quicker, but hopefully he'll see plenty of minute off the bench as the season goes on

Thought he looked good when he came on vs Fleetwood, which was basically a showcase to clubs to loan him in.

Surely there’s no chance he stays if we sign Gana / Garner.

He needs games.

Despite impressing at Tranmere, and again v Fleetwood the lad needs regular, senior football. Probably in the Championship. There's no hurry to throw him in here.

Gana will happen, Garner (with a solid Championship season behind him) also likely were quite well set. We're set even if we lose Gomes and Allan.

Bring him back next season to (hopefully) fight for a starting slot in whatever formation we have.
