James is good at making those filthy passes, only a footballer with his vision and ability can make such magic happen. I know he gets a lot of bad rep for being slow and hai defensive skills but he has such quickness of mind that we should give the lad a break for not being perfect lol

Had an awful week with my mother taken to hospital last weekend after having a stroke and I’ve just been talking to her (she’s also a blue) and to hear her talking much better already with delight about the match , thanks Everton, friggin get in there!!!

My mam lived through me and my dad being rabid Everton fans and always lived on tenterhooks when we played. She knew nothing about football. We lost her in August last year. Your mum will be over the moon because you are. Much love mate.

Yes they had a lot of young lads who had next to no first team experience and we had a lot of experienced players most with international experience. It’s what’s commonly known as men v boys but on this occasion the boys beat us
