Life expectancy

I'll be 92 and die in 2055 according to the death clock. :D

How many more trophies will I see the blues win in the next 47 years though?

Nope, it's actually on the way down mate (mainly in the States, but trends are starting to show amongst Maori's, large tracts of Africa and other population groups around the globe too). Mainly due to lifestyle, to be fair, but water and power shortage over the next 50 years will also play a major part.

where percentages and stats are involved the maori really should be excluded as there are so few that figures can always look bad. they suffer from obesity more than westerners, cancer, depression, suicide rates the whole bloody lot. they are a small population of basically tribal origins that are not that long ago in memory, they are nowadays exposed to many things that were totally alien to them before the british arrived, they now live in cities, they drink like the irish, they smoke weed like the dutch, they fight like well fighters.
many of the diseases that affect us are a big problem for them which is said to be down to blood type or more the way their dna has evolved. aboriginals in cities suffer from many of the same health issues and also in south america the mountainous ppeople that move to the cities.
so really for life expectancy you need to look at people who have lived in a similar enviroment, and look left, look right, look left again.

The average life expectancy gives me 8 more years than the death clock, so, where do I sign? BMI ok (23), but as a smoker I neutralise the benefits of having this perfect body. C'est la vie. Or c'est le mort if you want to be picky

well according to that death clock... im worm food in 2063 (i will be 88)

ive actually had my family tree done and there a spooky line of ancestors would who more often than not would die at age 74.

according to some heritage lookalikey thing i will probably look like larry king.

The singularity will be here by then. Consider that global life expectancy has doubled since the start of the 20th century, and our rate of technological advancement is growing exponentially, especially in the fields of computing, genetics and nanotechnology, I expect big things to happen in my lifetime to enhance life expectancy.

87. Bloody hell. 2045. Will I still be watching repeats of Columbo on television, probably.

Whetever happened to 'Hope I Die Before I Get Old'.

I'' still be telling my wife the same crap jokes though, and she'll still be polite enough to laugh, I hope.:D
