Liverfool get lucky again?

Liverpool are no better than Aston Villa in the transfer market these days. Gerrard is pushing 30 they are still in a stadium as small as Goodison. It is honestly as bleak as it has been for years over the park.

Benitez is a comedy manager, but he is looking like the kind whose quality they wont be able to improve on easily. If Liverpool miss out on the CL this season it could be a long cold winter of discontent. With no summer on the horizon.

I know. Isn't it great?

Sounds like his agent is trying to put the duffer in the shop window. I'd be highly surprised to see the loathsome Iberian idiot in Liverpool's dugout next season.

I think Benitez is an awesome manager and I hope he sticks around for all eternity.

Or another few years at least.

I think they'd need David Copperfield, Paul Daniels and Penn and Teller if they are to be champions any time soon.

When haven't Liverpool been lucky.

Derby match and Clattenberg.

When we finished 4th and they were poohing their pants about the CL.

There are naturally numerous other instances but those two stick in my mind.

Why the hell have the Italians sent all their managers to every national team north of Iberia, and then come knocking on the door of this Spanish clown when they need one of their own?

anyone hear his post match interview? When asked if he was likely to go to Juve he just replied 'i think we made good chances tonight' or some crap = he's defo going, otherwise he would've at least said 'I have a contract with liverpool' etc

To be honest, I want to see him go. I really can't stand the guy, if I never saw his big fat winging moaning head on the tv ever again it would be too soon!

Besides, I think he'd do more harm to the RS by leaving. I think the transvestite would be out the door, GBH might follow suit, they'd have no cash to build the team back up, they'd be ruined for years I reckon.

My number one reason for him going though, has to be because of his face. Ugh I can't even stand talking about him, he's a **** (begins with a t ends with a t, hope that's not breaking any rules)

If he went to Juventus, he'd be found out.

I dunno, don't they have a policy over there where the club buys the players and not the manager? Tactically he can be very good, what he's shockingly [Poor language removed] at is developing players, man management, picking decent players, holding onto players..... hell just about everything else really.

I just wish he'd go

Ha...so if they did everything for him except sit on the bench for him, then he might be able to pull it off.
