RAFAEL BENITEZ has warned Liverpool’s board they must find new investment if he is to resist overtures from Juventus this summer.....
“We are working very hard in the conditions that we have at this moment,” said Benitez. “I think we have a new investor or maybe more people coming this year....“We have to trust and have the belief that they will happen. In the meantime, we can talk about names in the market, players who are available for free and that means we can prove that we want to go forward and we can prove that we can manage sometimes without big money.” When asked if there needed to be concrete evidence of this happening, Benitez said: “Yes, I think that is important for all the fans and for all the people here to see these things happen. I think so. For everyone here.
“Everyone wants to see the team and the club progress and I think we are going in the right direction but we have to move forward.
“Sometimes this means signing players who are good and are available in the market. Sometimes it is changing things and the key at the end we know is the stadium and the new investors.”
Who in their right minds would bankroll that nobhead after his record?
Obviously he's on his way as soon as someone can take him off Liverpool's hands. I noticce in that report Liverpool are threatening action against Juventus. Illegal actions by the Italian club toward Liverpool. Oh the irony.

What makes me laugh is the amount of money he has had and not got his team sorted and now wants millions more. Should take a lesson from Davey Moyes on how to manage a team on a small bnudget.
I genuinely think it's because he can't build a team mate. I think he is good tactically, but lacks in every other department. He's probably someone that would make a great number 2, but that's it.
He can't bring talent through, he can't develop players, he can't make players play better, he can't make a good player into a great player. He has to have the finished article, and then pick the tactics. When he has that he does well, champions leagues etc. But I think his personality probably makes good players turn to crap
Goodness he's just such a tool! I know the popular consensus is to keep him there so he can ruin the club, but honestly he annoys me so much I just want him gone. I think he's done enough damage, and there's always a chance money from some rich arab will bail him out
Hope he stays, he's made me happier than some Everton managers have to give him his due.
