Good news that on Mykolenko. Hopefully he starts with McNeil and Ndiaye making at least the bench. Will be joyous going into these games with actual options on the bench for the first time in what seems an eternity
it was gutting in the Goodison game when Illi went off injured, he was our only real creative outlet but we still managed a draw. With options and less pressure than normal. it's a free hit.

Convinced we would have won that game if he hadn't got injured. Has only missed 4/5 weeks or so playing time if you take in the international break so he should be good to start just dunno if it's worth the risk. I think he will be itching to be in the starting 11 though

Hopefully NDy for me. I'll be curious where Moyse sees McNeil fitting.

Moyes should have asked the press, ‘any questions about Everton?’

Not hard is it?
Exactly this.
Only he didn’t and went along with it preferring to wax lyrical about them…..
Maybe he’d rather talk about them than have to defend his record there or give too much away about game plan / team etc.
Whatever it was it was ‘disappointing’

Was it really though?

Our next five against the top 5, our injured players coming back, and no fear of relegation.

We are absolutely going to try to win every game; no playing for a point in the next nine.

I am expecting a Moyes master class, I think we will get a result in this one.
Janglers kicking in for me now this morning. Absent the usual nerves given the recent run of form, lack of relegation worries and an adult in the dugout.

It’s an odd feeling going to the Pit without the expected loss mindset. Feeling something might be possible tonight.

Think they will go into this game more concerned about us. If they were to drop points in this game and the Arse beat us in the early kick off on Saturday rest assured the RS and their cult followers will be saying it was unfair to Everton (well them really) to play so soon after a midweek high profile Derby game. The pressure on them for the visit to Fulham on Sunday would then be immense. If it goes this way then I can envisage an incoming implosion and it adds up to making their game v Arsenal at the pit very interesting. It's got a Michael Thomas/Slippy G scenario written all over it 🤞
