totally different game from the league derby.

we have to get at them and bully them , wether it be with tough challenges or good offencive play , we have to get there fans on there back as early as possible.DONT LET THEM SETTLE !!!!

we saw last night that they havent got much beleif in themselves or that much in terms of tactical options to improve there performance.
i think they may play 451, adding arbeloa and babel in place of kean and aurelio and will try and play down our right side a hell of a lot more.hibbert will have to be on his toes and also watch out for the diving , trying to get him booked or rattled.

pienaar and baines should have the confidence now to really punish liverpool down our left flank.if liverpool play kuyt and carragher again , one of our lefties will get a goal im sure.

i also expect liverpool to really rough up cahill and arteta , hope the ref has the balls to card them when needed.

our defence will have to work just as hard if not harder too.

2-1 everton win pienaar and osman scoring , they get a consolation pen late on.
 
They have got nothing we need to fear, nothing, they are just an awful team, a team in which they have 1 wonderful player in Steviehandcuffs and another player in Torres who is unfit and lacking in confidence. We just need to keep an eye on them and its Wembley here we come,

Totally agree . Gerrard is an awsome player as is Torres but without then they are just another mid-table team . If we had our best possible team out we would be able to really take the game to them . As it is I would be happy with a replay . Last night meant more to me as I really want to break that top four
 
Problem is always Torres and Gerrard, the two players who can really make a goal out of nothing. We absolutely can't allow these players any space. Lescott was found out by Torres on one occasion yesterday, we can't let that happen again because we were let off the hook on that time. No matter how well we play all game long, these two players are the types who can provide them with a sneaky win even if they get battered all game long.
 

Can see Rafael making too many changes in an attempt to sort out problem areas for them last night... We're clearly going to play the same XI providing Anichibe's couple of knocks didn't do too much damage.

Reckon they'll drop Keane, Aurelio, Skrtel & Kuyt for Mascherano, Dossena, Arbeloa & Benyoun.

And we'll bend them over the Kop give them the shafting that will destroy their season.
 
Im actually kinda hoping it goes to a replay anyway, just so Maro can have a crack at them.

Im with Chico. A win would be a truely sexual experience, especially at Anfield.

I reckon theyd beat us if it came back to Goodison. And twice in one season would be awful. Lets **** em in there own back yard!
 

I think the fear and trepidation that usually accompanies a derby game is absent from the cup game following last night where we were worthy of the draw and then some.

This is not Old trafford, and this is certainly not Man United, this game is there for the taking and our tails are up.

Hopefully 6000 noisey blues will help - cant wait.
