Our fans were so good first half I was half thinking the game was at goodison , they are the the only ones who deserve any credit from this sorry mess of a night .

To drop Johnny tonight was pure stupidity , for a player coming off an injury to be put in at centre half is criminal , even in the reserve outing you could tell he needed to be eased back in , surely a home tie against Sunderland is a better option to do that than away at your fiercest rivals .

Some of our lads ought to be embarrassed by their performance , Felli and Straq would be the only ones to avoid criticism from me , even late on when the ball went dead it looked as though our players couldn be arsed to get it back quickly and try and retrieve something from the situation .
