EFC Si

Player Valuation: £25m
lol, do you think they'll qualify? After loosing to Lyon at home it's not looking good for them!!

How amazing would it be if drew them in the EL (assuming we get through of course)...better than the gosling derby? Would they even put their top 11 out?

I've been saying this all season, they just aren't good enough especially when the Gay Icon is missing.

I got a text tonight from a RS fan, they'd scored and he asked me to comment, I replied there is a long way to go, when Lyon started passing it about in the second half I text him saying tick tick tick, as soon as I had sent it they scored so I sent another text with just 'tock', four more texts to him and I'm still awaiting a response.....................................wouldn't you think they were used to losing by now:lol::lol:

Anyone else think it is funny that they were beaten tonight by the team that Houllier rebuilt after leaving the [Poor language removed].

Maybe just me.

They're [Poor language removed], they know it too. I like this very much.

A sound thrashing from United on Sunday will compound matters further, I just hope they stick with Benitiez as he's the best man for the job.

We should dust off the Rafatollah and parade it around Anfield on Sunday in support.

Nice being back to same minds Ossie lover...................I just don't want the FSW firing................he tells it how it is, he's doing a great job under trying circumstances......

also, i've just been laughing all summer since alonso went, about how every rs fan was convinced they were gonna win the league this year...how could they possibly think that! Even WITH alonso, the same thing would've happened. Their squad is going nowhere, no new additions of any kind of quality, and the only reason they had a shot at it last year was because Chelsea took ages to find form!

And it makes me laugh that Alan hansen, predicted they will win it this year! How can a football critic be that blind, even if he is biased! Especially an ex proffessional. given their current squad, they won't finish inside the top 4.

Actually Souness summed them up well in the post match chat, FSW will have him barred from the ground if he's not careful

I looked on that [Poor language removed] forum one of yous said. Mad, mad place that - love the way that to some Benitez is above any criticism, hope it stays that way - he's boss.

This, is what I buzz off loads - its like something written out of a fairy tale but they believe this [Poor language removed]:

Guys, i know all of us are pretty depressed and sad seeing us loose 4 in a row. But just think of what the great man Shanks would have done in such a situation. Would he have lost all hope? Would he be so knee-jerk in his reactions? Wouldn't he really lift us the club (and all of us) out of this gloom with his remarkable words?

I think this is not the time for knee jerk reactions. This is the time for helping our players out., listening to their problems and sorrows, encouraging them and beveling in them. This is what Liverpool FC is known for. This is the kind of socialism we believe in. So, even if we lost the next game to the mancs (or maybe 10 games after that), we must believe in the team the manager and most importantly, the great institution called the Liverpool Football Club. We are not so success hungry so as to lose confidence in what our manager and the players have been trying to build up for the last 5 years. If not this year maybe next, or maybe the year after that. But the important thing is to believe.

I think the only element missing from our game this season has been luck which we had last season. We are really afraid to face how great a part of life is dependent on luck. Just look at the mancs and the luck that they have been having while playing so badly all season. I sincerely believe our time would come.

So, please ignore the media, the so-called pundits and all other's who have only negative to say about our great club. Just think for a moment about our great man and what would he have done in this situation.

We are Liverpool Football Club and I am sure we will do well.

Someone actually wrote that tosh and believed it. Replace Rafael with Koresh ypu blert, you'll be marginally less brain washed.

Walk on , Bring on the mancs.
They clearly cant believe that, surely.

And then for the astute comments:

People are saying that it doesn't matter that we have under-par players in the squad because they didn't cost anything. This is ridiculous - those are slots in a squad that are filled with dead-wood. How many squads have as much dead-wood as us? Babel, Riera, Dossena, Degen are just four players who Benitez clearly doesn't fancy. That's 25m right there. Let's not continue this pretence of blaming the owners - it's mismanagement which is rotten to the core.
You don't give unquestionable blind faith either, and as Rafael won't answer his phone, I don't blame those who booed. I was pissed off myself. When does the manager become accountable for the teams results? You can't blame the yanks for everything
The signs were their a long time ago that we relied way to much on individual excellence way to often. Why are so many Liverpool fans blind to this? all they see is the final score never the performance.
I want Rafael to stay but he has seriously ****ed up at times and is defended way to much by some parts of the Liverpool faith full, loyalty is commendable but pure blindness is stupidity.

We still have time to put this right but we know we cant buy our way out so how? I know for sure that if our first 11 are fit we can beat anyone, but then again most teams can make that claim.
how the **** have we gone from having Crouch and Bellamy to N'gog and Voronin
Conclusion: I want them to batter United and get beat undeservingly in injury time.

That first quote, chico, is spot on - we've been saying what jammy bastards they are for decades, it's unheard of for one of them to actually admit how dependant they are on luck.

Right now, they not only need to worry about United, but Villa, Spurs, City, and I dare say us if we get back to the form we know we can achieve.

Anyone want to wager that they miss out on the Champions League next season?
