I wouldn't give it more than a chance in a thousand, but can you imagine the scenes if we were somehow to win this. Total mayhem. It would mean of course that Silva would stay on, and if we then went on to knock them out of the cup, then we'd have to give Silva a job for life.

Agree with the sentiment whole heartedly but wait till after the next loss as it would be another “gift” for that rum lot to gloat over saying it was they who got him sacked in their year of all time gloating. We must gum up the works in any way possible. Two footed challenges everywhere. FA cup match too.

I think LFC fans would love Silva to stay where he is.

If anything if we win tomorrow they would come out with the "we've kept Silva in a job for you"

Pretty much. I do wonder if it’ll end up like American football in that sense. Massive pockets of empty seats in the crowd leading to the cameras not showing it when practically everything in the sport ends up being dictated by media advertising revenue.

So lose tomorrow and you’d rather keep Silva on and jeopardise a potential semi final cup place when we play Leicester because a couple of kopites might say ‘we got your manager sacked’?

I don’t get it. Who’s really arsed what they think? If anything they will be doing us a favour and they will be thanked for helping us get rid of him.

In reality they will be gutted if he doesn’t stay on.
