BREAKING NEWS
Sky Sports News understands Marco Silva will be in charge of Everton for Wednesday’s Merseyside derby at Anfield.
Silva’s future was thrown into further doubt following yesterday’s late defeat at Leicester City but the Everton boss took training as normal today and will be on the touchline on Wednesday evening.

I don't care if we have to delve into the u16's but we need to find something better than have Gylfi playing centre mid alongside Davies.

Even if Delph is passed fit you just get a sense he's one stretch away from his hamstrings twanging again.

If Bernard is fit I'd like him to come back in, Richarlison on the right, Iwobi behind Kean. That means a flat back 4 which might affect how much of a threat Sidibe is as he looks so much better further up the pitch.

I'm not sure 3 centre backs will prove a success in the long term so not sure if that will help Wednesday.

not even arsed anymore me

didn't even fume yesterday when Leicester scored at the end, you just expect pure misery being a blue don't you

be arsed with the half n half scarf wearing rats fans being beauts the next day though

I’m one of the unfortunate going. Never been to derby at Anfield. Are the pubs around Goodison full of blues before the game/is that best area to have a drink before going to the game? Need to get myself in a state that I don’t remember the pending battering

As maligned as he is, I think we'd have a better shape and be more compact if we went 3-5-2 with Morgan alongside Tom. That way Gylfi can go further forward, or even be replaced by Bernard or Iwobi to go 3-4-1-2. I'd put Richarlison and Kean up front as the two. Then we can always then switch is to 3-4-3 if (when) behind, by simply taking out one of the three centre mids for a winger.

I should add, the other benefit of the 3-5-2 is that it gives Digne and Sidibe two "proper" targets at centre forward. Nearly all of our threat yesterday came from full backs but too often they put a cross in and there weren't enough bodies in a central position to get a head or foot on it.
