I am past myself with rage, didn't read it. I was just thinking those players are probably happy enough, they are close to home, can get away early and have time to take wife/girlfriend out for a nice meal and the loss guarantees a couple of Saturday's off later on in the year.

Well, this has to be incredibly humiliating for the players, beaten by Liverpool's reserve team. It says something about the qualities of the players and their character. They just aren't good enough. For many of the players, there is no turning back.

You're presuming they have humility and pride.

On recent past experiences this does not appear to be the case.
