I’m not sure that’s how football works though.

By rights or sheer fluke we should have won there at least once since Campbell’s winner all those years ago.

But we haven’t. We have barely won at any of the big teams in that time either.
Yes we are a lot better now, but we scraped past Cardiff last weekend and I don’t see how people can be confident of going there and winning.

I’ll say it again, if I am wrong then ace, and I’m not saying we won’t win, weird things happen in football all the time, but I am in absolutely no way confident and find it odd that people are.

we struggle wiining a free kick at the pit, never mind a match. 34 matches and 2 wins . utterly terrible

Are all you people saying we will get a result here drunk? We will get beaten I can say that much lol more chance of a cow landing on the moon than us getting anything. Just don’t watch it!

Could be a manic arm wrestle in the first 20mins to get a foothold inthe psychology battle.
A red card either way would be good. Got more experience in that this season.
Reckon they'll be at least 1 rc handed out.

Long as we compete and are in the game in the last 5 minutes, it will be good progress and about as much as you can ask of the team.

I'm not expecting us to win but it would be a great day if we do. In previous years if we were taking on the 2nd place team in the league, away from home, we would have no hope at all. Least we are not scared this time.

I think if we can keep it tight there for the first half their horrible wall pushing arses will go. They have to win, they are expected to win and anything less will be a disaster.

COYFB...

Even Their strongest team has Milner, wijnaldum and Van Dijk in it.

I hope Klopp gets cocky and rotates a few. Anything less than their strongest team and we walk it.

8/1 is a knocking bet.

How about....
Pickford
Coleman Keane Mina Digne
Gueye Gomes
Richarlison Sigaurdsson Bernard
Walcott

leaves us a great attacking bench of DCL,lookman and Tosun

..the reality is the Reds win. The truth is they’re the only club currently pushing Man City. Let’s not get away from how well they’ve done over the past 18 months.

We go there as underdogs. Logic suggests a home win and their fans continually think they will win every game. Its about time we as a club start to believe because we have a capable team.

Tomorrow will tell us a lot.
Settle for a draw myself a win would be a gleeful bonus.....
