6 weeks ago we'd have utterly crumbled after the first went in. Horrible performance but we showed resilience. Desperately need to get the club into a position where we can go there and pose a threat.

Well tbh the youngster haven't let us down this season, why not give Garbutt a chance, but saying that Williams has been much better since Sams come here.

Sam has worked absolute miracles with our defence to be fair.

After the Southampton debacle, i really feared for us, but the same players have worked hard and turned it round.

However, Cuco looks completely out of his depth at this level. He was given away by Southampton as a RIGHT back FFS and now he is our cover at LEFT back.

This has to be the PRIORITY in in the January window.

I feel it'd be fair to say we had the better of the game. Liverpool were sluggish and waaay too defensive minded. I'm a wee bit disappointed we were denied all 3 points, but I guess that's football...

Embarrassing.

They have an excellent record against us in this fixture but this is Liverpool, the team that routinely plays poor against utter tripe, the one that hasn't won a domestic title for 27 years. They are not one of the heads of state in our game.

...just another reminder for the future to anyone wanting to run the white flag up when we play that lot.

The odds historically are stacked against "Them winning all the time....as sure as night follows day".

..besides Martina, we defended deep and did ok. Kenny, Williams and Holgate did their jobs but for me Pickford very much looked the part.
