Liverpool v Newcastle

Who do you want to win the hypothetical League Cup?

That’s right, only the league title parade taking place in a few weeks. Now we’ve got those inbred horse punchers holding up 1995 banners when we go up there on the final day to contend with. What a successful day for us.
Our drought is our drought, irrespective of who has won what in the meantime. Portsmouth and Wigan have both won cups since we did, and I don’t feel inferior to either of them right now.

The fact of the matter is these are not going to care one jot about this in a few weeks. You’ve still all got to suffer the flags out of windows, the fireworks, the invasion of the pier head. Only now we also have to put up with those horse punching freaks lording it over us for a so far unknown amount of time about how we haven’t won anything for 30+ years. They will be bringing 1995 banners to BMD along with the inflatable T-Rex’s next season. Give it a couple of weeks and they’ll be brothers in arms with the reds again now that the dust has settled and they’ve both got what they wanted out of the season. It’s an absolute sickener, I ‘kin despise them so much. Never a less deserving fanbase of success. Absolute scruffs.
You need to see a doctor.

Give over. No one cares about Newcastle on here apart from you. They are not our rivals.

And the team that is our rivals are winning the league title. So why do we think them not winning their 470th League Cup is anything for us to be able to gloat to them about?! As if they will care in the slightest in a months time.

But that wouldn’t have made any sense, if they were on a 50 year drought? Why would they do that? It’d be like us holding up a “2008” banner to Spurs.

They will have found some way to insult us or have a go at us was my point mate

I remember after Benitez got sacked they were singing his name at us as we left the ground

At the end of the day does it really matter?

I know one Newcastle supporter in my every day life and he’s sound

The rest of them I can easily tune out, and if they tried that stuff at a match I’d just laugh it off and point out that it’s taken Saudi blood money to win the third most important domestic trophy on the second attempt
