Liverpool v Spurs

Spurs roll over at Anfield again.

Love the way they have a persecution complex about the media of late yet I've just sat through yet another bout of red arse licking.

Deluded and in no short measure.

Exactly right. Ive been switching between channels, both radio and TV, every one more biased than the next.

i dont like spurs, but would much rather them finish fourth than the RS.

Anyone still up for a late surge to 4th place then?

It has been a while since they have been in a final. We would have done the same if it wasn't for the semi being played at Wembley.

Think we'd have been a bit calmer......especially if it was a win over Blackburn.

Over Chelsea or United though...different matter hehe.

As for the RS tonight. Very sluggish, not nice to look at, but defended everything anywhere near their box.

Spurs were [Poor language removed].

Liverpool have another 5/6 losses in their locker this next half of the season. They are [Poor language removed]. It'll go down to a point or two between Villa, City and Liverpool for 4th spot. I'd go for Villa, tbh.

Anyway, context: January and Liverpool are pretty much guaranteed to win fcuk all, they have a manager who's pissed £230M up against the wall on c-list players from Europe and S.America, they've slipped from top four status, and their fans are organising flag night's outside Anfield to celebrate it all.

Thanks very much, and good night and God bless.

Liverpool, for all their shiteness, are one point behind a Champions League place.

shakes head at the media*

Were 12 points behind if anyone is interested.

IT.S.ON.

Chico, the best side won tonight for sure but no one should forgewt that Spurs were awful, possibly the only reason RS won because they could have shipped a few, even the ref disallowed a valid goal. Let them believe they have recovered, its back to square one next time they play an inform side.............defeat number 8, 9, 10. Like Dave says, they don't bother me one little bit

12 points behind the top 4 with a game in hand, and none of them (outside the top three) look even slightly competent.

I can definitely see us at least threatening to make up that 7-9 point gap on Spurs, City, RS and Villa.

If you offered me fifth and a cup final right now, I wouldn't take it.

First task is to catch Birmingham hopefully by mid-February, once we've done that we're right in it. Excited!
