Match Thread Liverpool vs Everton, Wed 2nd April 20:00

Flying? We've drawn 4 on the spin, all against teams in the bottom half, with no clean sheets.
Granted, it's a lot better than a couple of months ago, but the squad is looking tired and severely lacking depth.
How else should I describe an unbeaten run we haven't seen since 2017? And picking up points at the rate of a team playing for Europe since Moyes arrived?

And we actually are playing better football that's way more pleasing to the eye, without our two best attacking players, than we have in years.

It's all relative, mate

To paraphrase Billy Ocean
"Red Night - spells Danger... can't hold out much longer..."
All good things must come to an end and I see the extended Moyes bounce doing so on the second of April.
They are still smarting from Tarkowski's goal and have seen all their dreams fade away.
Not sure the odds are in our favour.

Hope the greatest right back since Cafu is back and playing for them, Moyes will target them down their right. I think we will score 2 maybe even 3, but will the ref and VAR give them everything, penalties and let obvious sendings off stay on the pitch, I think they will.
If we could be sure we would have fair decisions I would really fancy us.

If Ndiaye was playing I'd agree with you and could do damage down that side if he was. Just can't see it with Harrison starting. I have no doubt if Ndiaye didn't get injured in the Goodison derby we would have won that game

Hate this fixture. The good thing is we are no longer threatened by relegation. That would have made the fixture much worse. Anyway, hopefully we can get a result and it wouldn’t surprise me if we did
I don't know what to expect, it's easier to expect the worse in these games and anything else is a bonus. I always go into these games at Anfield, with some hope we will get something, then the inevitable, "oh it's happened again". Other than when we had agent fat Spanish waiter, I'm always confident playing them at GP. Despite Mattys worrying, when we them at GP. They've only beat us 3 times in 15 years at GP, 1 when we had 10 men, 1 jammy goal in last minute and 1 under agent Rafael. I think current players have far less respect for RS, than former players. Pickford, Myko, Beto, Gueye, Dourcore, Patto, and Garner all seem to like winding up RS and giving them a game. In the past, our players were far too respectful to them, only Distin and Cahill seemed to understand derby. I'd start Broja for derby, because he doesn't seem to have any fear against bigger teams.

For the first time in a long time. in fact probably the first time ever, I am actually looking forward to the Anfiekd derby.

And I am confident we will not lose 👍

Our best hope is that they pick up a few key injuries on international duty and we do not. I think they will win and go on toWalk the league title, but it would be nice to take four points off them to delay the inevitble
