Just watched the presser. The bbc Liverpool wankfest still going strong. Every question the BBC so called journalist put to Moyes was about them and Salah ffs. Embarrassing
The beeb have been head over heels in love with them for decades. It shows when they need expert opinion from giants of yesteryear abf turn to Steven Warnock or Jim Beglin!

Was it really though?

Our next five against the top 5, our injured players coming back, and no fear of relegation.

We are absolutely going to try to win every game; no playing for a point in the next nine.
Well I don’t tune in to Everton press conferences to listen to our manager blowing smoke up Liverpools hoop, so in that regard, yes it was.

By far the worst thing about watching the game (for me) is that Beglin is guaranteed to be a co-commentator. Bell of the highest order.

Anyway, up early to make Mrs B a coffee and then I'll settle down to watch the game (8am ko here). You know what, we can do these. And I hope Obrien snaps that snidey Roberston in half.

I HATE this fixture, and the build-up. All opponents turn up at Anfield most seasons with their shoulders slumped, seemingly happy to be the Washington Generals to the RS' Harlem Globetrotters.
Although watching long diagonal balls from the fullbacks whilst listening to that dirge isn't the same as whistling Sweet Georgia Brown.
At the second test event I felt the wind of change, or the breeze of transformation (and it wasn't the salt and pepper chicken).
It really is beginning to feel like we're back, baby. Let's get in their faces from minute one, wind them up, silence the crowd and give them a Moyes shithouse masterclass. 0-2. UTFT.

The derby 'means nothing' to Liverpool, remember....

So nice not going into this with dread. Clearly they are better than us, but I don't think they are at the same level as City were for the previous few seasons where it felt like a 3rd round FA cup tie against a lower league opponent. It helps that we're not looking over the precipice as well of course.
It's kinda weird that they are going to win the league, mainly because the likes of Arsenal and City are so brittle. Maybe it's the blue blinkers, but they don't seem good enough to win the league somehow.
