Anyone who reckons we're being too harsh on Saha, have a look at his goals scored stats for 2011.

A good player in his prime but he's not been in his prime for well over a year now. Should we spend £65k a week out of nostalgia for what he did in the past?

I wasn't saying his current record means we should keep him, I don't think we should. My point was that people should respect him for the goals he has scored for us before his dry spell, not bitch at him.

Loads of fans were saying Straq was a useless pile of crap when he'd only played about 2 games. When he scored they're all "I love Straq".

We're becoming about as respectful + loyal as Man Utd fans. Sad really.

I didn't see 1/10th of the vitriol there. Cahill's also on a hefty contract himself, and offers feck all beyond goals. At least you could argue Saha attempts to link up play.

I agree, give Saha a break for gods sake. I'm kinda proud of the fact that players leave everton with high praise for the club and supporters.

Saha has been great for us up until this season. He's technically the best striker we'v had at the club in a long time. Age injuries form and poor supply and support have all played a part in his displays this season.

Time for both of us to move on, but good luck king !!
