Point is that just because a player has been bought by a big club doesn’t mean he’s good enough for them.

There literally isn’t one. Just seen someone mentioning Barca and PSG and thought of him.
But the point is he's still definitely good enough for us.

Digne needs to play regularly. The last time he did that, on loan for Roma, he had an excellent season.
He turned 25 yesterday and it is now or never to get his career back on track. If he had chosen to stay at Rona or play for a Marseille or Atletico Madrid rather than PSG or Barca he’d have had a decent shot at being in the French WC squad if he’d played to the level he showed that Roma season. He’s chased the dream of making it at the very top clubs but he’s a step below that.
Strong rumours that Barca have agreed a fee with us & ball is in his court. Does he want to keep chasing his impossible dream or rebuild his career with us?

or go somewhere else. Still have a feeling we have tried for some players who have more options and choose a team who plays CL or EL. Hence no Lozano, Malcom, Mina, Digne (yet). Only regarding Mina i have a feeling he might like to come to the Premier league as he is a physical player. So would be a bit surprised if we pull this Digne transfer off to be honest.

It’s purely just my opinion not fact mate.
I’d like to think if we wanted the Celtic left back (and nobody better did) then we’d get him without too much bother really.
I really don’t buy that we caulked at an extra £5m. Especially the way we throw money about without thinking.
Just doesn’t add up to me.

He made 20 apps in all comps (12 in the league, 3 champs league) for Barca last season mate, think if it was me I would see out another season at Barca rather than share the left back berth in a team who in all reality have actually been badly gash,
