I thought our celebrations for the goals were absolutely fantastic, I don't know whether it was relief or what, but it certainly put a lump in my throat.

This is negative as ...but not far off the truth hahah

Defensively, he was solid.

Offensively, he wasn't able to get forward to as much effect because there was a fair chunk of space between all of our attacking players, meaning that we weren't pushing up as a unit too often. Wan-Bissaka also played brilliantly and Townsend stayed upfield, meaning Digne had to pick him up.

He's such a consistent player, though, and that's exactly what you need for this position. Great buy.
 

Ill say it again, its shocking we got Digne for the money we did. He is a fantastic attacking fullback, based on how he playes, youd think he’d been in the prem for ages, yet its his first season in a new team. I love Baines, but I havent missed him once since Lucas signed.

..yep, a transfer policy is all to do with progress and this fella is an improvement.
