Interesting stats about Lucas’ creativity with and without Sigurdsson in the team, not including set pieces. Absolutely top left back.

I think he is underrated defensively. He seems to get some crucial tackles/blocks in and is decent in the air for his size. Its only really Traore at Wolves who I remember giving him a really bad time.Always felt that Lucas Digne is an above-average left-back who is decent getting forward. For some reason, I never feel too confident with his defending.
Watch his defending closely this season. You'll be pleasently surprised..... Not sure how to take the above adverage part like. He's consistently been one of the best left backs in the league since we signed him.Always felt that Lucas Digne is an above-average left-back who is decent getting forward. Think that was down to tactical deficiencies. When you have a speed merchant like Traoré he should have a mobile midfielder helping by blocking his runs and not allowing him the space to get the distance ahead to run at Digne. Sadly we didn't/don't have one.I think he is underrated defensively. He seems to get some crucial tackles/blocks in and is decent in the air for his size. He gets away with murder. Awful today.
He’s one of our better players but it’s insanity that people genuinely believe he’s the best left back in the league. He’s 5th or 6th on the list.
I think he was at one point. But the parts of his game that made him great (his passing, crossing and shooting) have just disappeared and he's coasting.
He doesn’t shoot at all anymore does he? 0 goals in the last two years, for a player as attack minded as he is who possesses genuine set piece ability, that is poor.
