Still looking poor. Not the same player as in his first season.
The second part to your comment is correct. He's better.

Defo....really exploited the space behind ‘the best RB in the world’. It’s an area where the Reds can be hurt.
Not a fan of waving imaginary cards tbh.I'm loving a bit of snide on the team. James giving imaginary cards and Digne stealing actual cards.
The RS must be foaming at the mouth lol

Defo
Trent ( & Gomez ) are nowhere near the standard they've been past couple of years.
Haha the quotes in that article from kopites are already cracking me up. Apparently we’re the ones always cheating hahahaKopites gonna lose it over this too now...
'I tried my best': Lucas Digne reveals Merseyside derby stunt
Everton midfielder Lucas Digne has revealed he tried his best to pull a cheeky stunt in the side's Merseyside derby draw with Liverpool.www.thefocus.news
Not a fan of waving imaginary cards tbh.
But the rest ...I'm loving the New Everton.
Yep...I think Klopp (and now Southgate) realise TAA defensive deficiencies. Often against the better teams, Klopp played Gomez at RB.
Hope that game put to bed the ridiculous notion of Robertson as the best leftback in the league. He didn’t know where Rodriguez was for 90 minutes, he couldn’t even get off the ground against Calvert Lewin, and a debutant playing out of position at right back was running past him for fun. He did one decent thing in the whole game which was the assist for Mane after he miscontrolled his first touch and got lucky with the ricochet off Coleman.
Digne had Salah in his pocket most of the game and provided an assist (could have been 2 of Calvert Lewin had finished his chance better). He’s just a classier footballer, no doubt about it, better positionally, better with the ball, more intelligent. Robertson has got by on running like a drugged up whippet and being the angriest ferret in the entire world.
It’s like comparing a Ferrari cruising round the Italian countryside to some bloke on cocaine doing 100 in his Corsa and trying to climb the latter is the better car.
I’m not sure if I’d even swap Digne for a prime Leighton Baines right now and I didn’t think I’d say that about an Everton LB for a very long time!...the bottom line is would we swap Digne for Robertson and I doubt many of us would. I had connections to the first team when Robertson was at Hull & I recall him giving 3 penalties away in consecutive games and getting dropped.
Robertson has got a terrific ‘assists’ record for the Reds, but I suspect Digne would top that in their team.
