This has happened loads of times and when it gets down to the wire they add millions.

The circus of the transfer window plays a massive part, imagine zero news all week and the window comes and goes, there would be fans in uproar, they need something to read and believe

It must be. We will end up having used a budget of £1.7m for three players. They are good value for that fee.

Walcott, Besic, Bernard, Bolasie, King, Pennington, Baningime, Kean and Olsen all off the wages bill.

Should be in a much better financial position next summer when Delph, Tosun, Sigurdsson, Rodriguez and Kenny all leave.
