Lukaku - A Fond Farewell

I think fans should have seen enough from so many players at different clubs to realise that badge kissing is a hollow gesture.

Ironically, the really genuine players who have given years of good service to a club never bother with this kind of antic.

Yes thats what I meant. You'll never find people like Jags, Baines or people like Giggs kissing their badge that much. Or doing those kinds of gestures. Even the Nevilles, as annoying as they sometimes are, were just getting on with it.

Kissing badges is like kissing girlfriends. You soon get fed up with them and want to kiss a different one.

Slightly different reasons for the clap mate... Naisy did a fair bit for the community, He got the club's ethos.. Lukaku is a bell who happened to score a shed load for us... Im not clapping him for that.

In fairness to him, he never once said that he intended to stay here until he retired.

We all knew that he'd be off sooner or later.

As many have said, he'll be off from Man U the moment Real come sniffing around.

Let's see how he reacts when he scores against us on Sunday. ( nailed on ).

If he scores early on, his celebration will be subdued I'd think. If it's later in the game after receiving endless dogs abuse from the away fans, then the badge will be getting a big smacker.

Its mad how the madding crowd cajole players out of the club because they don't kiss the badge to feel the brittle ego of some of these fans.

Give me a cold hearted boss slotter who like Lukaku every week over a Besic.

Lukaku was the best Everton striker we've had for nearly 30 years. If you found yourself thinking or saying* that we wouldn't miss him, or calling him lazy, or going overboard on his supposed poor first touch then I hope you've got some time to consider how wrong you were, and commit to keeping your idiotic footballing perception to yourself in future, lest you further embarrass the football club you support.

* I still haven't decided if I'm gonna vault all these but that depends on how much genuine remorse I see from this point on

I do not mourn the snake. I hope he enjoys his consecutive 2nd place finishes before Man U sell him to PSG for 700 Billion Euro or whatever the going rate for a clueless fairweather donkey will be by then.

Best striker in the world at the moment.

By world, I mean Premier League because I'm ignorant and don't watch football outside of it.
