Lukaku - A Fond Farewell

He didn't have an assist if he hasn't created any chances. Doesn't even look like he touches that knock down as the balls looping up in the air.

He's a striker we'd have been linked with under Moyes and been disappointed not to get as he gets 5 in his first six for Burnley but struggles for a goal after that. Not now.
I'll watch it again, but even if he doesn't touch it, he makes that goal by muscling and fighting with Matip. We need a target man and we need goals. He's playing both parts right now and we have neither. Don't think we ought to be turning our noses up to anyone who's being productive really. Also, he wouldn't have been an end game, but as stated, he'd have helped until better could be found.

Imagine wishing this fella well.

When he says that it's not a special match I think he just means that we're not one of the "big teams" anymore.

And he's probably right in that respect. We've won just one trophy (the FA Cup) in the last 30 years and we've only finished in the top 4 once during the entire Premier League era.

Given the circumstances we have a better player in Wayne Rooney. He's scored 2 premiership goals so far in a side that's had like 5 chances all season. United are scoring 4 a game. We need to first of all get good and feed the Roo. He pisses all over Lukaku as a footballer imo. Even now.
