Lukaku - A Fond Farewell

I still think his poor first touch will cost him a serious injury one day, not that I wish it on him but he has it written all over him.
Fantastic finisher but can he keep it up for the whole season, dries up near the end when United will need him most.

If that happens, we will mostly have rashford and Zlatan to turn to who are great assets.

But I wouldn't be worried much. Every striker has a spell of goal drought. The season RvP led us to a title, he had 2 months where he didn't score. It happens

scored one, but he missed alot of huge and easy chances today.

Come now, that's just too harsh (Chance 1: unless you count him heading against the keeper; but he put the rebound away himself). There also the one where Mikhytarian sends him away; his shot was blocked by a defender, that can happen. No other clear-cut chances. And what I see here, he could have gotten one or two assists. Especially the Herrera shot was a bad miss. Still I only watched the Playsports Lukaku watch; so it's quite condense even though it only focuses on Lukaku, but a glance on twitter says he didn't do too bad: "Ran himself into the ground. You could see how much it meant to him at full time" "Played as a perfect team player"... And a gif that is supposed to display passion (he looked happy after the win I suppose LINK). So it seems fairely safe to say that he had a decent match.
